Soon, these engineers will be able to input, share and view data with a new suite of engineering applications.

The Combat Vehicle Modernization Strategy is the U.S. Army’s strategy to provide formations with the appropriate combinations of mobility, lethality and protection to defeat the enemy and accomplish the mission across the range of military operations. The strategy, created by U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, was approved by the Army vice chief of staff in September 2015.
WASHINGTON (Army News Service, March 28, 2016) — The basic small-unit fighting capability of the Army is the squad. One of its weaknesses is broad-area situational awareness, particularly in unfamiliar environments, according to Col. Phil Cheatham, deputy branch chief of the Electronics and Special Developments Branch at the Maneuver Center of Excellence, or MCOE, Fort Benning, Georgia.
FORT LEE, Va. (March 24, 2016) — Michael K. Williams took charge as Army Logistics University president Monday when he accepted the symbolic “torch of knowledge” passed along by outgoing president John E. Hall.
The Maneuver Support Center of Excellence and Fort Leonard Wood hosted the Acting Secretary of the Army Friday and provided an experience the former Soldier appreciated. Acting Secretary of the Army and Under Secretary of the Army Patrick Murphy started his day at the fort like most Soldiers, conducting physical readiness training. He joined Company D, 2nd Battalion, 10th Infantry Regiment for morning warm-ups, a run and later joined them at a dining facility for breakfast.
FORT LEAVENWORTH, Kan. (March 28, 2016) — Acting Secretary of the Army, Patrick J. Murphy, visited the Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) Academy here, March 24. Murphy was briefed by senior leaders and spoke with a class of future Victim Advocates (VA) and Sexual Assault Response Coordinators (SARC).
