The Army announced Jan. 15 that female Soldiers will be allowed, for the first time, to attend the Army’s Ranger Course and possibly earn the coveted Ranger tab.
WASHINGTON (Army News Service, Oct. 20, 2014) — The Army profession demands that Soldiers adhere to the Army ethic at all times, the chief of staff of the Army said.
Trust is the foundation of the ethic, Army Chief of Staff Gen. Ray Odierno said Oct. 13, here, during a Living the Army Ethic panel on “Why and How We Serve,” at the Association of the United States Army annual meeting.
WASHINGTON (Army News Service, Oct. 14, 2014) — “Whether it be along the DMZ in Korea, the mountains of Afghanistan, the deserts of Iraq, the plains of Eastern Europe, the savannahs of Central and West Africa, there stand our nation’s trusted professionals,” said Chief of Staff of the Army Gen. Ray Odierno.
The chief delivered the keynote address at the Association of the United States Army’s Dwight D. Eisenhower Luncheon, today. During the event, he explained to attendees what it means to be a “trusted professional.”
